It was never meant to be easy. Football in India never is.
Born out of necessity, on the streets. Survived on talent, and driven by hope and stubbornness of the players who keep this running.
As the new season is underway, we have a small favour to ask. Japoly has always been an open play platform, and ‘maybe’ it always will be. We aim to keep it that way. It’s our pursuit to bring in more talent from across the state and make the world see what we see.
Times are tough, and we know not everyone is in a position to contribute. But because Japoly is community-run, we rely on the steady support of those who can. That support is what keeps the platform running.
Unlike many others we don’t have big owners or institutions backing us. This is a player led movement. That’s what keeps us honest and relentlessly focused on the sport, free from the politics and pressure that usually shape it

we are a fan
It was all started by a fan (a player), for the players (the fans). We keep them at the center of it all. We think like them, we act like them, we feel like them. We are them. There is no Japoly without these anarchists.
we give players a platform to showcase their talents.
That’s our promise. Without any discrimination, if you can play, you will play. And we will make sure that you never go unnoticed, not at our watch.
we keep this platform open for all
This is, and will remain, a rule we live by. The day we stop talent from entering the grounds is the day we lose our soul.
we reinvest everything back into the sport.
There is no higher purpose for us right now. We want to see players earn livelihoods, staff stay employed, and fans feel joy. We find more joy in giving. We’re selfish that way.
we accept the responsibility that comes with running it.
We won’t turn our head away at Japoly. If we make mistakes, we’ll own them, fix what needs fixing, and focus on what should be. Your feedback matters to us.
we work for and with the underprivileged.
We work to support those who weren’t blessed with the easiest of lives, just like many of us weren’t. Our purpose is to lift up the ones who need it most. Skills can be taught. Attitude can be shaped. And together, we can help them change their path.
we commit to do more for women.
Not enough. We haven’t done enough. We need to do more, and keep doing more. This is a critical area, and we’re committed to growing it at Japoly.
